Printing PDFs to a non-PS printer

For the following I assume you are using Adobe Reader.

• Select File > Print...
• Click Advanced
  • Check Print as image
  • Click OK to dismiss the Advanced Print Setup
• Finally, click OK to print the PDF.

This will make render the PDF as an image and the result to the printer, rather than as post-script information (which may present itself to the printer as valid, but garbled text).
